Last week I was lucky enough to be in Tokyo and Kyoto. It was my first time in Japan and it lived up to all my expectations and more.

Happy Halloween

It's Halloween again. These pictures of kids dressing up in the 70's are amongst the inspiration for last years 'Trick or Treat' story.

Computer Love

My assistant Alex on my very wet and windy shoot in Cornwall. Computer Love is in the current 'Future' themed issue of 125 Magazine, and exhibited at The AOP Gallery, Leonard St, London.

"We wanted to create something that reflected the way people perceived the future in the past.  Our inspiration comes from 70's B's movies, E.T, and images of robots from era's gone by.
Our robot was conceived over a period of weeks in a bedroom in Walthamstow.  We then shipped him to the jungle where he eventually took on a life of his own.  The story is a simple one of friendship and loyalty.  The loveable robot helps our heroine in her adventures though the prehistoric landscape.
We hope it makes you want to take him home."

Nut Tree farm

Oh, to have been a child in California in the 1960's.......

"Nut tree farm was a popular stop for those traveling  between the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento along U.S. Highway 40.

The Nut Tree started as a fruit stand and the first permanent restaurant building opened in 1921. The Toy Shop and the Nut Tree Railroad opened in 1952. The railroad had a quarter-mile track running through the Nut Tree orchards and gardens. The Nut Tree Airport opened in 1955.

The Nut Tree was closed from about 1996 until 2006 when the new Nut Tree opened."

Mia Goth

Here are a couple of cool kids I cast at a festival in Summer.
Lovely Mia (bottom shot) ended up being the star of a shoot I did for Amelia's magazine. She had never modeled before and was amazing. Here is some of the shoot from the magazine. Thank you Mia.

Oh Deer!

They sure love a deer in upstate New York!
I shot all these (only with my camera, thankfully) at a restaurant called Peekamoose in the Catskills in upstate New York, whilst shooting the Aerie Holiday campaign.
